What Does it Mean to be Pentecostal?
This course offers a comprehensive introduction to Pentecostalism as a dynamic family of movements united by a radical openness to the Holy Spirit. Students will explore the defining marks of Pentecostal spirituality by tracing its origins, theological distinctives, and spiritual practices within the broader Christian tradition. Drawing on historical texts and contemporary scholarship, the course also invites reflection on the movement's contribution to the whole body of Christ, and charts a path forward grounded in repentance, discernment, and renewed faithfulness to Christ and the Spirit.
